IRIS Movie of the Day
At least once a week a movie of the Sun taken by NASA's Interface Region Imaging Spectrograph (IRIS) is posted by one of the scientists operating the instrument.
Dynamic Coronal Jets at the Solar Limb

A sequence of several coronal jets seemingly untwisting off the solar limb, launching material out into the solar system. These large scale eruptions are widely linked to the physical process known as magnetic reconnection.
