IRIS Movie of the Day
At least once a week a movie of the Sun taken by NASA's Interface Region Imaging Spectrograph (IRIS) is posted by one of the scientists operating the instrument.

IRIS is currently running a campaign that requires a daily scan of an active region near the center of the solar disk. With the solar cycle nearing its maximum, this is a great opportunity to observe all different kinds of active regions as they face towards us. Looking at all of these scans one after another, we can see the interesting variations between each AR. This campaign is also doing the same thing with quiet patches of the Sun, but that isn't nearly as interesting to watch in video form!
