IRIS Movie of the Day
At least once a week a movie of the Sun taken by NASA's Interface Region Imaging Spectrograph (IRIS) is posted by one of the scientists operating the instrument.

A small explosion in an active region, just south of a sunspot, leads to lots of interesting dynamics. Unfortunately, the IRIS slit missed the event (only just!) but there will still be lots to discover through analysis of this event.
