IRIS Movie of the Day
At least once a week a movie of the Sun taken by NASA's Interface Region Imaging Spectrograph (IRIS) is posted by one of the scientists operating the instrument.
Series of C-class off-limb flares

Within seven hours the AR 12941 produced several B- and C-class flares while it was visible at the north-west of the solar limb. It beautifully displays how the region stays active between the occurrence of the flares and how individual flares rise and decay.
