IRIS Movie of the Day
At least once a week a movie of the Sun taken by NASA's Interface Region Imaging Spectrograph (IRIS) is posted by one of the scientists operating the instrument.
Flares and eruptions in a solar active region

On February 2nd at 21:51:00, for about one hour the active region AR12939 has been observed. During this observation, some interesting features associated with flares have been observed near the sunspot.
