IRIS Movie of the Day
At least once a week a movie of the Sun taken by NASA's Interface Region Imaging Spectrograph (IRIS) is posted by one of the scientists operating the instrument.
Jets and Loops

This active region near the limb of the Sun resulted in lots of explosive activity. Look for jet-like features extending up into the atmosphere before falling back down to the surface; and for different flavours of loops coming and going.
