IRIS Movie of the Day
At least once a week a movie of the Sun taken by NASA's Interface Region Imaging Spectrograph (IRIS) is posted by one of the scientists operating the instrument.
Coronal jet and flares in AR12829

On June 2, 2021, some small flares are formed at the top of the Field Of View (FOV), in AR12829. The bright loops formed in AR12829 are connecting two regions with different magnetic polarities. Then, a nice coronal jet appears on the left side of the FOV.
