IRIS Movie of the Day
At least once a week a movie of the Sun taken by NASA's Interface Region Imaging Spectrograph (IRIS) is posted by one of the scientists operating the instrument.
Active Region Jet at High Resolution

Active regions are incredibly busy parts of the Sun, and small jets in their core can be hard to spot in full-Sun images. In this movie however, we capture the full evolution of an active region jet at high resolution, with 1.7 seconds between each frame.
