IRIS Movie of the Day
At least once a week a movie of the Sun taken by NASA's Interface Region Imaging Spectrograph (IRIS) is posted by one of the scientists operating the instrument.
IRIS Observes the Birth of a Sunspot

Sunspots appear as dark features in the IRIS 2832 ?? slit jaw imager. In this movie, small dark features called pores appear and coalesce. These features are the precursors to sunspots.
