IRIS Movie of the Day
At least once a week a movie of the Sun taken by NASA's Interface Region Imaging Spectrograph (IRIS) is posted by one of the scientists operating the instrument.
Small flare and filament eruption

A small flare is observed in 1330, 1400 and 2796 along with a filament eruption, the slit crosses the flare region.
