IRIS Movie of the Day
At least once a week a movie of the Sun taken by NASA's Interface Region Imaging Spectrograph (IRIS) is posted by one of the scientists operating the instrument.
Activity at the limb

NOAA 13514 produced dozens of flares while it was crossing the solar disk. Here we see it at the western limb of the Sun, still being very active. We see loops, jets, and even a small ball of material being shot out at high speeds.
